NBC has not put out official confirmation that Heroes will be returning for Season 4 next year.  However, it is extremely likely that it will return, despite the recent decline in ratings.

Unofficial news is slowly starting to trickle in.  For example, Heroes writer Bryan Fuller  says that they have a big storyline planned for Ali Larter next season.  This ndicates that the creative team behind the show are confident that they will get another season.
