Adrian Pasdar

Adrian Pasdar (born in 1965) attended university on a football scholarship. However, a car accident during his freshman year ruined his chances of playing professional football. After completing freshman year in a wheelchair, Adrian dropped out of school and began working with a theatre company, eventually auditioning for film roles. His first role at the age of 19 was in Top Gun. He also appeared in Solarbabies, Near Dark and Carlito's Way.

Adrian has directed two films, Beyond Belief and Cement, with his second effort winning Best Picture awards at several film festivals. Adrian has also appeared in several television shows, including Profit, Mysterious Ways, Desperate Housewives and a recurring role on Judging Amy. In 2000 Adrian married Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks, and the couple has two children.

Nathan Petrelli

Adrian currently plays the role of Nathan Petrelli on Heroes. Nathan lives in New York City with his younger brother Peter, his mother, Angela, his wife, Heidi, and his two young children. Nathan first discovered his ability to fly when the car he was driving with his wife was struck by another car and he inadvertently flew from it, causing his car to crash and resulting in his wife being paralyzed. Six months after the accident Nathan began campaigning for a seat in Congress.

Nathan was approached by Mohinder Suresh, who warned him that his life was in danger. Later, in Las Vegas, Nathan had an affair with Niki Sanders, who was ordered to sleep with him by Mr. Linderman, and met Hiro Nakamura, who witnessed him flying in an attempt to escape Mr. Bennet. Later, Nathan worked out a deal with Linderman's associates to obtain $4 million in campaign contributions. Nathan encountered Issac and saw several of his paintings depicting the future. Both he and Issac worried that Peter would be the cause of the explosion that is destined to level New York City.

Recently, Nathan was contacted by a former lover, Meredith Gordon, who told him that the daughter (Claire Bennet) they believed died in a fire was actually still alive. She threatened to expose their secret unless he paid her $100,000. It was also recently revealed that Nathan is assisting the FBI in gathering evidence against Linderman. Knowing of Nathan's betrayal, Linderman sent Jessica to kill Nathan, but Niki warned him and he chose to threaten Linderman's life. However, Linderman told Nathan that if agreed not to kill him, not only would he win the Congressional election, he would also eventually become President. Nathan chose the life Linderman promised and decided not to kill Linderman.
