Milo Ventimiglia

Milo Ventimiglia (born in 1977) began his acting career at the age of 18. He first appeared on television in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and later made guest appearances on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Boston Public. Milo played recurring roles on both Gilmore Girls and American Dreams.

Milo has appeared in several feature films, including Cursed, Dirty Deeds, Stay Alive, and, most recently, as Rocky?s son in Rocky Balboa. A lacto-vegetarian since childhood, Milo has a crooked mouth due to being born with dead nerve endings in his lower lip.

Peter Petrelli

Milo currently plays the role of Peter Petrelli on Heroes. Peter lives in New York City, along with his brother, Nathan, and his mother, Angela. Originally a hospice nurse, Peter began having dreams that he could fly. His brother claimed that this belief was a sign of psychological distress. Determined to prove his brother wrong, Peter eventually levitated in front of his brother after several failed attempts at flying.

Later, Peter was given a greater sense of purpose when a future version of Hiro Nakamura instructed him to 'Save the Cheerleader, Save the World'. Peter's attempts to uncover more information about the cheerleader he was to save lead him to Isaac Mendez and the revelation that he possesses the ability to copy other heroes' power. Peter eventually learned that he was destined to die while saving the cheerleader in Texas, but was determined to save the world. When Peter attempts to save Claire he is attacked by Sylar and the two of them fall off a roof. Peter's absorption of Claire's healing power saved his life.

Later, Peter had a vision that he is the cause of the massive explosion that was to destroy New York City in a matter of weeks. Peter later found another hero named Claude Raines, and requested that Claude teach him how to control his abilities and call upon previous powers that he has mimicked. Peter sought out Mohinder Suresh when his girlfriend Simone Deveaux was accidentally killed by Isaac. Arriving at Mohinder's apartment, he encountered Sylar, who began to slice open Peter's head in an effort to determine the root of his abilities.
