Greg Grunberg (born in 1966) has appeared in many television shows and feature films. He has made guest appearances on Melrose Place, Baywatch, Murphy Brown, Diagnosis Murder, NYPD Blue, Felicity and Lost. He is best known for his recurring appearance as Eric Weiss on Alias from 2001 until 2006. Greg has also appeared in several movies, including Austin Powers: Goldmember, Hollow Man, Ladykillers, Malibu?s Most Wanted and Mission Impossible: III.

Greg runs a charitable organization called Hollywood Helping Hands. His charity auctions off finger-painted artwork done by celebrities to benefit the Pediatric Epilepsy Project. Greg became involved with this charity because his son suffers from pediatric epilepsy.

Matt Parkman

Greg Grunberg currently plays the role of Matt Parkman on Heroes. Matt Parkman was police detective with the LAPD. He flunked the detective?s qualifying exam due to his dyslexia. Matt also discovered that he possessed the ability to read people?s minds after he saved a little girl who?s family had been killed by Sylar. He eventually joined with an FBI agent in an attempt to find Sylar and arrest him. While at a bar, Matt encountered a man who?s mind he count not read. Matt eventually fainted and, when he woke up, he encountered Mr. Bennet. During the meeting, Bennet instructed the man from the bar to ?go deep?. Matt woke up a day later on the couch, not remembering what had happened to him.

Shortly thereafter, Matt attempted to reveal his abilities to his wife and later punched a co-worker when he hears that the man is sleeping with his wife. Matt and the FBI agent encountered a radioactive man who told Matt that he also had an experience with a strange Haitian man. Matt and the agent eventually staked out PrimaTech Paper Company in an attempt to find Bennet and Matt recognized the Haitian. After raiding the paper company location and discovering nothing suspicious the FBI agent ended her partnership with Matt, fearful that she may lose her job.

Matt finally told his wife about his ability to read minds and discovered that his wife is pregnant. Matt took a job as a bodyguard while he was on suspension from the force and encountered Jessica Sanders while attempting to protect his client. Matt also overheard Jessica and Niki?s voices battling for control.

Recently, Matt received a call from the radioactive man and the two of them went off to find Bennet, convinced that he and his organization were behind each of their abductions and memory loss. After holding Bennet?s family at gunpoint, Matt was captured by Bennet?s superiors and is currently being held by them.
