Peter, stuck in Sylar’s mind, must find a way out for both himself and Sylar to be able to help Emma avoid the disastrous future that the carnival has in store for her. Samuel, with the help of a carnie, digs up Noah’s past life to reveal to Claire a life he used to live with his first wife and the reasons he joined The Company in the first place. A wounded Lauren seeks help from Emma and also tries to warn her of Samuel’s true intentions. Samuel goes on with his plans and prepares for his ‘best show’ yet set for New York City.
