Samuel tries to convince Emma to join the band of carnies by flattering her with how special her abilities are. Meanwhile, Claire’s growing suspicion of the true intent of the carnival grows and must face a couple of Samuel’s faithful followers including Eli and his replicas, and Master of Puppets, Eric Doyle. Hiro returns to Japan, but in a state of delirium making his intentions to take Mohinder out of the mental asylum he had previously put him in unclear to Ando who has to try and decipher Hiro’s comic-book code-talk.
